It seems that Sarah Palin, the legendary Mama Grizzly, believes herself to be adept at identifying lack of leadership. Her present rant is that somehow Barack Obama is responsible for the undesirable sexual liaisons between some Secret Service advance agents in Cartageña, Columbia, and beautiful ladies of the evening.
Although President Obama was engaged in running a nation of roughly 312 million people, and was 1,964 airline miles from Cartageña when the incident took place, Palin claims that the President is guilty of poor leadership. The incident didn’t even happen at the hotel at which Obama and the other dignitaries would be staying during the summit meetings on April 14 and 15.
Good people sometimes do stupid things. How far was Sarah Palin from her 17 year old unmarried daughter when Bristol got pregnant? No lack of leadership caused Bristol’s pregnancy, nor was there was lack of presidential leadership in the case of the Secret Service. Palin needs to learn some critical thinking, but since that is unlikely, a faceful of STFU would probably be more helpful.
